It is interleague baseball on Tuesday as the Miami Marlins face the Detroit Tigers. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Marlins-Tigers prediction and pick.

Bryan De La Cruz and Jazz Chsiholm Jr. have led the way this year. De La Cruz is hitting .263 on the year with a .315 on-base percentage. He has nine doubles and eight home runs, good for 21 RBIs. Further, he has scored 22 times this year. Chisholm is hitting .252 on the year with a .331 on-base percentage. He has five home runs, eight doubles, and two triples. This has led to 21 RBIs. Further, he has eight stolen bases and 18 runs scored this year.

Josh Bell comes in having a solid week. He is hitting .238 over the last week with a .360 on-base percentage. He has a double and a home run, with five RBIs. Further, he has scored twice. Jesus Sanchez has also been solid hitting as of late. In his last five games, he is hitting .316 in the last week with two doubles. This has led to two RBIs. Still, he has not scored in the last week.

Marlins pitching is 30th in team ERA while sitting 29th in WHIP, and 28th in opponent batting average. Ryan Weathers will be on the mound in this game. He is 2-4 on the year with a 4.54 ERA. Further, he has 1.32 WHIP. The Marlins have lost the last four games when Weathers has started. In the last two games, he has given up three runs and a home run in six innings. Kerry Carpenter has been solid this year as well. HE is hitting .274 on the year with eight doubles, two triples, and five home runs. He has driven in 18 runs this year,r and scored 13 times.

Tigers pitching is seventh in ERA while sitting fifth in WHIP and eighth in opponent batting average.  It will be Reese Olson on the mound for the Tigers in this one. He is 0-4 with a 2.52 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP. Olson has given up just two runs, with one earned in the last two starts. He has pitched 11 innings with nine strikeouts, but the Tigers have lost both games. The only game the TigFurthermoreers have won with Olson on the mound was his first start of the year. Still, he has not won a single one of those starts. The Tigers have not been able to get run support. Now, they face the worst pitching staff in the majors.
