Andre Iguodala will miss the Golden State Warriors game against the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday due to a left hip strain, the team announced this morning. There is no word on the severity of the injury as of yet.

The Warriors' sixth man played 22 minutes against Oklahoma City on Monday without any visible discomfort, but his exclusion from tonight's game can be merely precautionary in the latter end of a back-to-back late in the season.

Iguodala's absence will give rookie Patrick McCaw, as well as late bench addition Matt Barnes a considerable uptick in minutes within the rotation, as the only small forward available in the roster.

The Warriors are taking a four-game win streak against the Mavs, who've gone 2-3 in a five-game stretch. The team will also be without forward Kevin Durant, who is traveling with the team, but still within the timetable for his recovery — and center Damian Jones, as he is out for a D-League assignment with Santa Cruz.

Golden State has won by an average of 18.3 points per game during the four previous games, digging themselves out of a shooting funk that had them lose five of their first seven games without Durant.
