Following another monster performance in a 121-118 win against the Dallas Mavericks, forward Anthony Davis became the first player to post four straight games of 30 points and 13 rebounds since Shaquille O'Neal did so in 2000, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Davis hit the glass hard as he's done for the last seven games, getting double-digit rebounds in each of them. His chemistry with frontcourt partner DeMarcus Cousins has finally started to click at a crucial time for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Kentucky product has put all his doubters to rest after an injury-plagued season in 2015-16, posting career-high averages of 27.9 points and 12 rebounds per game.

The Brow has been an absolute animal in all areas of the court, being the Pelicans' best weapon on offense and defense for most of the season. While many wouldn't expect Davis to be the one to equal Shaq's awesome record, his consistency has been the only thing keeping a makeshift roster afloat this season, now battling for their narrow chances to crack the No. 8 seed in the West at 32-43.
