After recently getting cleared to resume basketball-related activities, Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons went straight back to work, and started with a 1-on-1 game against a young New York Knicks fan, during their pregame warmup.

The boy tried his test to shot over the 6-foot-10 forward, but saw his attempt not only get blocked, but the ball was also thrown to the stands. Simmons was then seen laughing after, while the young fan was left helpless and could not believe what he just witnessed.

This is not the first time a Sixers big man savagely blocked a kid, and a Twitter user was quick to remind the team of it.

The Philly faithful are hoping their two young players can also swat shots as effective and emphatic as how they did in the two clips. With Simmons now cleared to get back to work, and Embiid expected to fully recover this summer, the future is definitely looking bright for the 76ers, who are looking to put all their losing campaigns behind them starting next season.
