The Utah Jazz will be without veteran forward Boris Diaw for up to two weeks due to a right leg contusion, a source told ESPN's Tim MacMahon.

The French international had missed the last two games for the team, and with a minutes restriction for starting big man Derrick Favors, forward Trey Lyles will get a major uptick in minutes until things fall back in place.

A multi-dimensional 34-year-old Diaw plays a jack of all trades on offense, but is still finding his niche with his new team after spending the last four seasons as a member of the San Antonio Spurs.

Utah will be extra thin in the frontcourt if Favors, Lyles or Rudy Gobert get in foul trouble, so Joel Bolomboy and Jeff Withey might draw extra assignments on the floor if that indeed happens during Boris Diaw's absence.
