It's been a crazy day so far. We finally got our first official trade when Jeff Teague was traded to the Pacers in the three team deal.
Now, the second gigantic trade of this off-season has been finalized. It's a big one.
The Bulls are sending Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon, per source.

Derrick Rose has been through a lot during his roller coaster career, and now that roller coaster will take him to New York to play for the Knicks. New York will also be receiving Justin Holiday and a 2nd-round pick in next year's draft.
As for the Bulls, they'll be receiving Robin Lopez (a nice defensive center), Jerian Grant (a young promising point guard), and Jose Calderon (an efficient point guard) in return.
Many would evaluate this trade differently. It really depends just how you value Derrick Rose at this point. If you see Rose as a valuable piece still, then New York made a good move. If you don't see it that way, then the Knicks may have traded a lot for a point guard whose career is fading away.
