Not a lot of people can say that they were born on April Fool's day, but what's even more uncommon is sharing the same birth date with your teammate. Such is the case of the Brooklyn Nets centers, who both celebrated their birthday on Saturday.

Brook Lopez and Justin Hamilton were given a cake by Rondae Hollis-Jefferson before getting interviewed and asked how they grew up trying to convince others it's their birthday on April 1. They said it wasn't easy especially with the amount of pranks they received. They also added that they think they are the real twins, and not Brook and Robin Lopez, because of a talent they both have.

The big men have proven that they can play the role of stretch-fives with their ability to shoot from beyond the arc. Brook is having a career year this season with averages of 20.7 points, including 1.8 threes, 5.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 blocks per game. After only making three three-pointers in his first eight years in the league, he has knocked down 127 in this campaign alone.

Hamilton on the other hand, is playing less minutes than him, as he is his backup. However, he can also make three-pointers and has made 64 so far this season, along with his averages of 6.8 points, and 4.2 rebounds.

Although the Nets own the worst record in the league today, there are still a lot of positive takeaway for them. With Lopez and Hamilton showing a lot of promise and improvements in their respective games, they are giving the Brooklyn faithful reason to believe the tough times will not last long and that they be a successful team again in the near future.
