After they became teammates while playing for the 1992 Dream Team, Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley built a strong friendship despite being two of the fiercest competitors in the NBA at that time.

However, their relationship started to fall apart when Barkley criticized the way Charlotte Bobcats owner, Michael Jordan, managed his team. His Airness apparently took those comments personally, stunting a friendship that has lasted decades.

The two legends recently saw each other at an event, where Barkley spoke about their encounter while he was a guest on a radio show. He described their meeting as cordial but also made it clear that he will not apologize to Jordan for the comments he made, even after his Inside the NBA co-host Kenny Smith advised him to apologize to his good friend.

It does not come as a surprise that the Hall of Famers both have a lot of pride, but with so much history behind their friendship, it seems like a resolution can and should be made.
