Longtime actress Meryl Streep can do no wrong in DeAndre Jordan‘s eyes.

That stands strong even after the 67-year-old's speech at the Golden Globes on Sunday after accepting her Cecil B. Demille Lifetime Achievement Award.

Streep had shot from the hip during her speech, saying:

“Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners and if we kick them all out, you'll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts.”

The actress also said that sports are an art form, so when TMZ Sports caught up with the L.A. Clippers‘ big man, he could not say a bad word about her.

Asked if he agreed that basketball should be considered an art form, Jordan said: “Absolutely. She's been my crush since I was 6 years old.”

It was all going along smoothly until he was asked what his favorite film of her was, to which he responded “Steel Magnolias,” a film Streep is not in.
