Former NBA player Dennis Rodman has been declared as a “person of interest” in a hit-and-run case that happened on early Wednesday morning in Orange County, California. The accident was on the I-5 freeway in Santa Ana, where they found a damaged BMW, but no sign of another car or Mr. Rodman. There was a witness that saw Dennis in the car that was involved in the accident, but there's been no indication on whether he was driving or just in the car at the time. Nonetheless, Dennis was in the area at the time; he was singing karaoke at a bar called the Velvet Lounge in Santa Ana.

Dennis has had his legal troubles on the road before, being arrested twice for DUI's in 1999 and 2003, as well as other charges that happened in the past.

Dennis played in the NBA for 14 years, for the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks. Rodman won the NBA championship 5 times, in 1989, 1990, 1996, 1997, and 1998. He's a two time NBA defensive player of the year, seven time All-Defensive first team, two time All-Star, and led the league in rebounding seven times consecutively, from 1992-1998. Dennis averaged 7.3 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. He was inducted to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.
