Draymond Green has been no stranger to technical fouls and Monday night's showdown between the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder proved no different for the Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

Just seconds before the end of the first half, point guard Stephen Curry got in the middle of a shoving match with Semaj Christon and Russell Westbrook joined right after, attempting to get in between them. Green joined soon after, as all four players were hit with technical fouls following a review from the officials.

“Nothing surprises me at this point, when it comes to anything like that,” Green said of being hit with the technical foul, according to Monte Poole of CSN Bay Area. “I actually knew it was going to happen. I didn’t do any thing. But I knew it. If I’m anywhere in the area, it’s expected.”

This was Green's 13th technical foul of the regular season and he'll have to be on his best behavior during the last 12 games in order to avoid a one-game suspension from the league office.

The Warriors ended up winning the jump ball after play resumed, as Klay Thompson fired a pass upcourt in the winding seconds of the half, finding a wide open Curry that knocked down the three as the buzzer sounded — a five-point swing that really twisted the dagger on the OKC faithful.

“That was dope,” Green said. “A heads-up play by Klay, to get the pass out to Steph, and a great shot.”

The Warriors walked away with their fourth straight win, along with snapping the Thunder's five-game win streak. Golden State has swept the season series 4-0.
