Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green earned himself two technical fouls and a consequent ejection, less than a minute before halftime during Wednesday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
The emotional engine had a score to settle with the DeMarcus Cousins‘ led Kings after an earlier February overtime loss, but will take an early shower after reacting intensely and saying some choice words to the referees following a blocking foul that was called a continuation at the 35.7-second mark.
Green tried to contain Cousins in the paint and body-bumped him as the center flailed through the contact, putting the ball up and in.

While it could have been considered incidental contact, Green was on Cousins’s path while he went up for the shot attempt, giving the official enough reason to give him the and-one.
Green’s technical count is now up to 10 and will have a few hefty fines to pay for both technicals, plus a $2,000 kicker for the ejection — assuming there’s no additional punishment for berating an official.
