Dwyane Wade had one of the most memorable seasons of his career in the 2008-09 season — after big man Shaquille O’Neal had made his way to the Phoenix Suns — some even think an MVP-worthy season after single-handedly carrying a Miami Heat team to playoff contention.
The now-Chicago Bull was asked if he thought that was a fair assessment and he wasn’t a bit shy to confirm it.
I always tell Bron to take care of my trophy. It's like both of ours he just keep it at his HOUSE! https://t.co/9GsoUjO4b7

Wade became the NBA’s scoring champion that season with a 30.2 points per game average, while dishing out 7.5 assists, collecting five rebounds, nabbing 2.2 steals, and rejecting a career-high 1.3 shots per game.
“Flash” had an equally great playoff performance that season, but was bounced out in a seven-game series by the Atlanta Hawks.
