Heat coach Erik Spoelstra gets married in Miami

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra got married to his longtime partner and former Heat dancer Nikki Sapp in Miami on Saturday.

They had their wedding at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, in South Miami. Not many players were there to congratulate the Spoelstras, but Miami Heat president Pat Riley and assistant coach Juwan Howard were spotted there.

Erik Spoelstra has been part of the Heat organization for almost 20 years, but started head coaching in 2008. As a head coach, he holds a 62% winning percentage, while piloting his team to two championships in 2012 and 2013, and one as the assistant in 2006.
