The annual front office survey is upon us with the start of the regular season only a week away and general managers around the league responded to 48 different questions about the best teams, players, coaches, fans, offseason moves, amongst other topics.

They were not allowed to vote for their own team or personnel. Percentages are based on the pool of respondents to that particular question, rather than all 30 GMs.

Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker was voted the most likely to have a breakout season in 2016-17.

The 6-foot-6 Grand Rapids native has come out swinging, making the most out of his chance as a starter during his rookie year with absences to point guard Eric Bledsoe and combo guard Brandon Knight.

His 13.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game were solid enough to warrant the nod from head coach Earl Watson, giving him the starting spot over Knight this season.

Booker has displayed the poise and shot-selection required to be a starter in the league, even getting the star treatment last week when he was rested by Watson for the Suns' fifth preseason game.

The Kentucky product has scored at a 21.5 points-per-game clip during the first four preseason games, shooting an effective 50 percent from the floor.

Reigning Rookie of the Year Karl-Anthony Towns was second in the voting with 13.8 percent, followed by Indiana‘s Myles Turner with 10.3 percent.
