Now that he is cleared to resume basketball activities, the 28-year-old Israeli international is reportedly receiving a lot of interest from multiple playoff-bound teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies and L.A. Clippers, among others.

In eight seasons in the league, Casspi has proven that he is a capable scorer, who can score in bunches, and has the ability to play multiple positions. At 6-foot-9, he has decent range and could help a contender stretch the floor.
He owns career averages of 8.4 points, on 36.9 percent from beyond the arc, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game. Casspi spent the past three seasons with the Sacramento Kings before being part of the blockbuster deal that sent DeMarcus Cousins to the Pelicans.
Should he sign with either team, he will add depth to their rotations and also bolster their wing position. He is also expected to see a fair amount of minutes especially with both teams having a need for someone with his skill set.
The Grizzlies have just recently announced that Chandler Parsons will be out indefinitely (likely for the remainder of the year), while the Clippers only have Paul Pierce and Wesley Johnson as their only legitimate small forwards, which makes Casspi’s potential signing very sensible to them.
