On March 2, 1962, Wilt Chamberlain made history by registering 100 points in a Philadelphia Warriors win over the New York Knicks.

To this day, it still stands as the NBA’s highest single-game scoring total by a player. No one has come close to it. Philadelphia native Kobe Bryant’s 81-point game really isn’t close to a hundred.

Chamberlain’s performance is that of legend status and the Sixers franchise has opted to take a few pieces of history into it’s new practice facility in an interesting manner.

Hopefully, this won’t just put visitors in awe, but also provide inspiration to the players that it can be done. They don’t have to score 100 points, but what they need to do is erase the losing culture of the past few years that has put the storied franchise in a bad light.
