After the Dallas Mavericks forward got one in his mail as a tribute to his 30,000 career points feat, Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside also received his own potato with a picture of him and his friend, record label executive DJ Khaled.

Although not a lot of information has emerged about the sender, what’s even more bizarre is why a tater was used as a canvass. However, the person who made this deserves a lot of credit as it is very obvious that a lot of effort was used to complete his artwork.
From what has surfaced so far, it is from a company called “Potato Parcel” who were featured in an episode of ABC’s “Shark Tank.”
For what it’s worth, this has been a new way of honoring players who have played a solid season and something they will not easily forget, since it’s not every day they receive a potato through the mail, especially with their faces on it.
