Miami Heat fans better brace themselves for tough news concerning Josh Richardson’s health.

The young guard suffered a partially torn MCL during workouts on Friday, and after undergoing some tests, it has been revealed that he will be out of action for six to eight weeks.

”When I hit the ground, it was like my knee was on fire. I just kind of laid there and my teammates helped me off and carried me off to the training room. I just tried not to think the worst.”

Richardson will miss the entirety of training camp and the early part of the regular season. With him out, players such as Dion Waiters and Wayne Ellington are expected to gain bigger responsibilities for the Heat.
