LOS ANGELES – The L.A. Clippers won last night's pivotal game against the Utah Jazz at home to win the season series and hold the tiebreaker if it comes down to it. During the 108-95 victory, guard J.J. Redick suffered an apparent right ankle sprain and will miss Sunday afternoon's game against the Sacramento Kings.

“J.J. Redick is out, but not for rest,” revealed head coach Doc Rivers before the game. “He stepped on a basketball yesterday. We're trying to figure out how because that's really high. I don't know how bad it is, but I know he didn't feel comfortable shooting today, so he's out.”

The Clippers have two days off on Monday and Tuesday before taking on the visiting Washington Wizards. Redick finished with 12 points and four rebounds on 4-11 shooting. L.A. will need to be as healthy as possible for these final eight games of the season as they push for home-court advantage in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
