Leave it to J.R. Smith to almost spoil the Cavs‘ first-round sweep of the Pacers.
In the closing moments of Game 4, Smith stole the ball and then attempted a poorly thought out behind-the-back pass. Naturally, the Pacers stole the ball but were unable to convert on the other end, which allowed the Cavs to come away with the 106-102 victory and a ticket to second-round.
Smith's boneheaded play was met with much ridicule on Twitter:
JR Smith for real threw a behind the back pass on a run-out with a lead.
Just. Amazing. The NBA is the best.
