Not everyone in the league was impressed by Devin Booker’s astounding 70-point performance Friday night.

Boston Celtics small forward Jae Crowder took exception to a photo that was retweeted by the NBA’s official Twitter account featuring the Suns team celebrating Booker’s amazing night in its locker room.

Crowder called out the Suns for being too jovial after a loss and made sure to remind them that it was the C’s that came out victorious in the contest.

Booker could not let this shot pass without sending a message of his own to Crowder. The 20-year-old had a very concise answer that hit home for the 6-foot-6 lock down defender – “you can’t guard me.”

To be fair Booker was not Crowder’s defensive assignment all night as it was the Celtics guards that took turns to try and stop the onslaught. However there was one point in the dying moments of the game where we saw just how much Crowder wanted to get a piece of the second-year guard.

Devin was trapped near the baseline after in an inbounds play and Crowder rushed for the double team. He tried to block Booker’s jump shot from behind only to catch the Michigan native on the arm and send him to the line where he would eventually score points number 69 and 70.
