If you're a fan of slick crossover moves, buttery-smooth finger-rolls and rainbow threes that end up being four-point plays, worry no more — Jamal Crawford is here to stay.

The L.A. Clippers shooting guard apparently plans to be in the league for another half a decade, per his reply to a fan on Twitter.

Historically, guards just don't get to play as long as forwards and centers do in the league, largely having to do with the wear and tear from their legs. They are the players pushing the break, running in between screens and often taking the majority of hard hits when they go to the line.

The only guard to have played 20 seasons is Kobe Bryant, who just retired at the end of last season. While Jamal Crawford isn't the most physical of guards, we're yet to see if his body holds up to the promise.

If judging by his game, the 36-year-old scored 14.2 points per game last season and shot a cool 90.4 percent from the free-throw line, enough to earn him his second Sixth Man of the Year award.
