Another game, another incredible performance from James Harden.
Harden dropped his second triple-double with at least 40 points last Sunday. He became just the third player since the NBA/ABA merger to complete the feat multiple times in a season, and ‘The Beard’ made history once again during their win on Tuesday night against the Charlotte Hornets.
Harden recorded his 11th game with double digits in points, rebounds and assists on Tuesday and joined an elite club being one of only players to record a 40-point triple-double in consecutive games.

The Rockets almost lost the match after seeing their 18-point lead in the final quarter erased by the visiting team with a 21-2 run. With less than three minutes left, head coach Mike D’Antoni called a timeout to gather his troops. The Rockets would complete the game going on an 11-3 run of their own, giving them the hard earned victory.
Houston will look to extend their winning streak to 10 games when they face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Harden will attempt to make history of his own once again with a third consecutive 40-point triple-double.
