James Harden has put himself among the franchise's all-time greats after a 23-point, 10-rebound, 10-assist outing during a 101-91 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday, becoming the first Houston Rocket to record three straight triple-doubles.
The Beard struggled from the field after a mind-blowing performance to close out the year, shooting only 6-of-24 from the floor and 2-of-11 from deep, but ultimately managing to edge out his fellow Player of the Week in Wizards point guard John Wall (18 points, 12 assists, five rebounds).
That @JHarden13 mood! 3rd consecutive triple-double, first Rocket to accomplish that! #NBAVote
