After making a return to the NBA by joining the Houston Rockets last year, Michael Beasley now finds himself in a new team once again as he got traded to the Milwaukee Bucks prior to the start of this season.

It's always difficult transition to move to another team and adjust to their already established system, but it became easier for Beasley as he is joined by a former teammate from the Rockets as well, veteran guard Jason Terry.

The Jet only had good words to say about Beasley and raved about his maturity. The 27-year-old was left without an NBA team and had to bring his talents to China two years ago to continue his professional career. But Terry believes that experience helped him become a changed man and now he values his job more in order to remain the league.

Per Siriux XM NBA Radio:

“What happened to him is he was humbled by the experience when he was without the NBA. He had to go over to China and play for a season. It’s different. It’s a reality check. It’s like, you were very blessed to play in this league and that was taken away from you. So when you come back, all of a sudden you mature very fast. Early on in his career, he was not mature. He had all the physical and athletic ability to play this game, but he lacked in the maturity department. I’ve seen a difference last year in Houston when he was there for his three months’ time.”

Beasley became an instant source of offense and energy for the Rockets off the bench last season and he was able to put up decent averages of 12.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in only 18.2 minutes per game. He will look to continue and contribute to his new team and give the same effort he showed last season. With Terry's leadership and his new  attitude, it won't be a surprise if he can become one of the better bench players of the league for years to come.
