After attempting to take a charge, Jimmy Butler fell to the floor and was quick to lift his feet in disapproval of Jae Crowder lowering his shoulder, tangling his leg as Crowder attempted to run the floor.

As play was stopped, Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo and Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas both rushed to defend their respective teammates and got a little too physical for the referee's liking – all four of the players involved received technical fouls in the aftermath.

Butler and Crowder were teammates as part of a potent Marquette team in 2011, but boys will be boys when it comes to the hardwood. Was this over-officiating by the refs? Or just a way for them to police a relatively chippy game?
