One of the very first things the new Chicago Bulls wanted to work on during the season was the team's chemistry.

After analysts predicted volatile mix built to fail, the Bulls are now steady in the top 10 rankings on defense and sit at No. 3 in the Eastern Conference.

Jimmy Butler seems to be enjoying the changes around him and feels it's worth mentioning that the players enjoy each other's company enough to hardly spend time apart.

“As much as you see guys around each other, you would think we live in a dorm. The way we all leave the building at the same time, we're all going to eat somewhere, we're all at somebody else's house. You would think, I don't know (if it's) a good or bad thing, that we are a college team.”

Butler didn't straight away say so, but the togetherness has to contribute to the good chemistry balance the team has found.

The Bulls are breaking the rules of a traditional type of team.

Starting Three players that need the ball to be effective can be a disaster, and is usually not effective.

Rajon Rondo, Dwyane Wade and Butler in their time together on the court are +25,which is a mark many believed wasn't possible.

The Bulls suffered from chemistry issues last season trying to integrate Fred Hoiberg‘s offense with Derrick Rose and Butler leading.

This time the results are more favorable, and Butler is much happier for it.

“We're always talking to each other in a group chat, competing in a video (game). Something about this group of guys, we just always want to be around each other. We realize we're all we have whenever we step out onto the United Center floor or an away game. It's us, it's these coaches, it's this organization.”
