The Green Bay Packers have gotten off to a quick 2-0 start this season with wins over the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings. After catching the only touchdown for the Packers in Week 1, Jimmy Graham was nonexistent in the offense in Week 2.

This week, Graham must have a big game for the Packers versus the Denver Broncos. As of this moment, Graham is questionable for Sunday's game with a groin injury but if he plays, he will need to be a vital part of the offense.

Against the Bears to kick off the season, the veteran tight end caught three passes for 30 yards and a touchdown. In his second season in Green Bay, it looked as if Graham was going to become a key contributor in the offense.

Then, against the Vikings this past Sunday, the pass-catching extraordinaire was nowhere to be found in the offense. Graham ended Week 2 with zero catches on just one target from Aaron Rodgers.

Coming into Sunday's game, Vic Fangio will likely key in on slowing down Davante Adams in the passing game. As a result, it is highly probable we see Chris Harris shadow Adams for the majority of the game.

That leaves Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison as the other receivers that should see more targets in Week 3. Along with them, Graham could become a cornerstone of the gameplan this week versus a rebuilt secondary of the Broncos.

As the Oakland Raiders showed us in Week 1, Denver's defense can have trouble covering tight ends. On Monday night in Week 1, Darren Waller gave the Broncos defense fits with seven receptions for 70 yards.

At 32-years-old, Graham may no longer be as shifty and dominant as he once was in his career. But he still can create a mismatch for any defense with his size and ability to catch passes in traffic.

When the game begins, the Broncos will likely elect to stick Kareem Jackson or Justin Simmons on the Packers tight end. Neither of those guys should be able to slow down Graham if Rodgers chooses to look in his direction.

A gimpy Graham is still better than half of the tight ends in the NFL right now. It will be worth monitoring the Packers official injury report prior to the game on Sunday.

Through two weeks in the season, the Packers offense under Matt LaFleur has been stagnant. Maybe getting the ball to their athletic tight end can provide a spark for them moving forward.
