The 7-foot center was fourth in the Eastern Conference’s frontcourt voting with 221,984 votes as of Thursday, when the NBA released the first list of results.
Hinkie is likely Embiid’s biggest fan as he was the man to bet on him after his lone-year stint at Kansas. The former GM persisted and encouraged Embiid through injuries that kept him sidelined for the first two seasons.
Embiid asked who Hinkie was gonna vote for, and of course, the response was obvious.

His tweet has already been retweeted close to 14,000 times, making it a decent help if it were to come down to the last few votes for a spot.
The Sixers big man only trails Kevin Love by less than 30,000 votes to get the last spot in the East, at least when it comes to the fan vote, which counts for 50 percent of the equation.
