With all the attention LaVar Ball has been getting the past couple of weeks, it felt like it was only a matter of time before Joel Embiid lets everyone know what he thinks of him.

The Philadelphia 76ers center has made a name for himself as one of the most entertaining players on social media because of his comical posts and antics. He was back again to his old ways when he joined Ben Simmons'  Insta Livestream and made it known what he thinks of the former professional athlete.

Although he made the bold statement, it's hard to imagine him being really serious about it. Embiid's gimmicks in the past have made his reputation precede himself, which makes a lot of people think he is just trying to be funny.

Ball played basketball for Washington State during his college days and only averaged 2.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. He has been part of a lot of headlines lately following his controversial and even downright absurd statements, and has generated a lot of chatter for his son, Lonzo, who has declared for the NBA Draft.

The younger Ball is projected to be a top-three pick in this year's draft after his impressive stint with UCLA. Although it's a long shot, the Sixers may have a chance to select the him if the lottery balls fall into place and go their way. Should that be the case, it will be very interesting how he his first meeting with Embiid will be and how they will co-exist on the court.
