It's yet another offseason for Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, which means he's already putting in work on his Twitter game — this time aiming at one of the six most prolific scorers in NBA history — Dirk Nowitzki.

The German international is a known soccer fan and keeping watch on Tuesday's UEFA Champions League quarterfinal between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, which went to overtime after a 2-2 tie on aggregate.

As Cristiano Ronaldo scored the tiebreaker seconds prior to the end of the first overtime period, Embiid made sure Nowitzki was aware his team, Bayern Munich, was bound to be eliminated, counting with only 10 men on the field after a late ejection.

The goals kept coming and there was no stopping Embiid's trash talk in light of Nowitzki.

By the end of the game, Madrid had scored three goals in the two overtime periods after some questionable officiating, but that didn't keep the 7-footer from ragging on his veteran counterpart.

Nowitzki was quick to point that out and so was Embiid to comically acknowledge it.
