Nerlens Noel may be distraught about the direction of the Philadelphia 76ers, but Joel Embiid is optimistic.

He matter of factly has plans to play in the league for a long long time.

Considering his injury history before he has even played a single game in the league, 20 years would be a tremendous feat. Only five players have ever played that many seasons of NBA basketball.

Embiid has in fact already determined the exact kind of player he's going to be in his career.

“I'm a post player, I want to be a post player I want to dominate in the post. If I'm open for a three I might do that.”

It's highly doubtful that coach Brett Brown would ever draw up a three-point plays for Joel Embiid. With his limited status this season, he won't see enough action outside of the post to consider himself a perimeter player.
