Ex-NBA player Kenyon Martin retaliated against his former coach George Karl and his inflammatory comments against him and his Denver Nuggets teammates Carmelo Anthony and J.R. Smith, as an advance copy of Karl's new book Furious George made the rounds through the media.

Karl spared no feelings with his cold-hearted opinions about his former players, not only attacking their character but their life stories as well.

The 65-year-old former coach wrote that Martin and Anthony were negatively affected by the absence of their fathers in their lives.

“Kenyon and Carmelo carried two big burdens: all that money and no father to show them how to act like a man,” Karl wrote in his book.

Martin didn't take long to respond, countering blow by blow through his Twitter account.

Martin got his money's worth on Twitter, unlike his former teammates that are still active players in the league.

Tell us how you really feel, Kenyon…

Martin's claims were corroborated by former New Jersey Nets assistant Bobby Marks.

This sure isn't the last of players to sound off on a clearly irate George Karl. So far, the former coach has been getting more heat than praise through the eyes of his peers and media alike.
