Yesterday, Oklahoma City Thunder fans were relieved by the report that there's a “90 percent chance” that Kevin Durant re-signs with OKC. But, now that free agency is officially underway, KD will listen to pitches from various teams around the league.
After meeting with the Thunder yesterday, Durant and the Golden State Warriors met in the Hamptons on Friday morning.
In a meeting that lasted about three hours, the Warriors attempted to persuade Durant with the fantasy of forming a “Super Death Lineup,” an idea that, despite sounding a little silly, has actually intrigued KD in the past.
According to the Russillo and Kanell show on ESPN, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala were all in attendance to push for the KD-to-Golden State movement, and USA Today's Sam Amick reports that the meeting “went very well.”
There is some history between these guys.

Members of the Warriors have actually been recruiting Durant all season, even as they competed for the Western Conference crown.
Will all of this end up making a difference? Just because a meeting goes well doesn't mean Durant is now suddenly leaning towards the Dubs. ESPN's Royce Young isn't looking too far into it.

For now, the waiting on Durant's ultimate decision will have to continue. The four-time scoring champion still has meetings set with the Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs, and the Miami Heat. He's expected to have a second meeting with OKC to conclude his free agency tour.
