The Golden State Warriors might be getting star forward Kevin Durant back for Game 3 of their first-round series against the Portland Trail Blazers as they prepare for the next two games on the road.

Durant practiced today and even stuck around for some shooting drills with Stephen Curry at the end of their session.

“I want to be out there, but it's not life of death,” Durant told reporters following Friday practice, per Connor LeTourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Head coach Steve Kerr noted his all-around forward could be shelved again if not 100 percent, once again opting for the cautious approach for a second straight game. He is still listed as “questionable” for Game 3.

“I played the full fourth quarter on it and I felt like getting off of it and waiting til the end of the game and I'd be fine,” Durant said of his injury. “The (Warriors medical staff) have had some experience with this before, so they don't wanna risk it.”

“I understand, I'm trying to get the big picture, but I definitely wanna be out there.”

Forward Matt Barnes, who has been out for two weeks with a foot sprain, said he felt “good” and that there were no setbacks in his recovery. He practiced in full today and could likely see some time on Saturday depending on the circumstances.
