Golden State Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson may have a fairly-common first name, but being spelled starting with a ‘K' makes it unique.
Despite the different spelling, on Wednesday the two-time all-star met someone with the exact same name and spelling as he does. The namesake visited the team after their open practice at Oracle Arena.
That someone is an eight-week-old male yellow labrador retriever who serves as a guide dog for the blind. Klay, the dog, seemed to enjoy the company of the NBA star as he appeared to be at ease while on his lap.

Thompson is no stranger to dogs as he also owns an English Bulldog named Rocco.
It's nice to see the 2016 three-point contest champion enjoying his time after practice, as it's not everyday that he gets visited by a dog named after yourself.
