With home court locked up and not very much else to play for in the last two games of the season, the Golden State Warriors will rest starting shooting guard Klay Thompson against the Utah Jazz, according to Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News.

Everyone else, excluding veteran forward Matt Barnes but including Stephen Curry (who missed Saturday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a left knee contusion), is expected to be available for the game.

As expected, head coach Steve Kerr has been diligent figuring out a time to rest his starters and key players off the bench, now having rested Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, Curry, and Thompson today with only one more game left to the regular season after tonight.

Golden State will close the season against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, a game for which he could likely give veteran guard Shaun Livingston a courtesy rest after logging 16 straight games by the end of tonight.

Zaza Pachulia could possibly see rest as well, but he's only logged 20 or more minutes four times in the last 20 games, and is averaging a mere 17.4 minutes per game through that span.

If the Warriors manage to come out victorious through these next two games, they will achieve their second-highest win total for a season with 68 wins, one more than the 2014-15 season total.
