When a set of virtual reality goggles went haywire at the Golden State Warriors offseason meeting pitch to Kevin Durant, the conversation suddenly changed to a much lighter topic — shoes.

Reigning MVP Stephen Curry argued that if the two were to join forces, it could have positive aspects for both shoe companies (Durant a Nike athlete, and Curry the face of Under Armour).

Meanwhile, a meek Klay Thompson who some believed had dozed off through the meeting, perked up and asked “Is it good for Anta?”

The room bursted into laughter.

Anta is a lesser-known Chinese shoe brand that Thompson has donned for the last few years.

The joke was symbolic of the Warriors good natured fun and helped turn a potentially disastrous malfunction of the virtual tour of a roaring Oracle Arena, into a laugh-filled meeting with plenty of potential to reap out of.
