Kobe Bryant has been retired for four months now, and the Los Angeles Lakers sure have been busy.

Drafting Brandon Ingram was a great move, signing Luol Deng and Timofey Mozgof got the team some veteran presence, and getting Luke Walton to coach the Lakers is a big boost.

But whenever these young Lakers need some advice, Bryant will be there, per this interview for Time Warner Cable Sportsnet:

“I would love to come by,” Bryant said of helping players. “I've spoken with Luke (Walton) several times, (Brian) Shaw as well. I let the players know that I'm always around, man. I'm always around. If they wanna come out, and work out, wake up early in the morning to work out, walk them through some things.”

Two takeaways from this are (1) the Lakers will be getting some really good mentoring this season, and (2) Kobe Bryant just can't stay away from basketball.

Brandon Ingram, Jordan Clarkson, D'Angelo Russell, and Julius Randle better be in great shape for camp.
