Yet again talking about Kobe Bryant, his legacy and an honor, which might not be official yet but we all know it is going to happen sooner than later.
Bryant is sure to join the likes of Magic Johnson, Jerry West. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chick Hearn, and his former teammate Shaquille O’Neal in receiving another big recognition from the Los Angeles Lakers, the team he so passionately played for over the past 20 years.
The future unveiling will not take place inside of Staples Center, but right outside of it as Kobe Bryant is definitely going to get his own statue at the arena to join the rest of the above-mentioned Laker legends .
A statue is supposed to be a monument for the ages. Once made, it cannot be altered, so real thought has to be put on the stance that Bryant will have for it.
He definitely offered quite a few statue worthy moments and stances, so the Lakers shouldn't have too much trouble finding ideas. The problem would be which of all the iconic moments will go down in history on a permanent Kobe Bryant statue.
First, the “Deadly Jumpshot” which wreak havoc and panic in opposing teams for two decades and the main weapon in Bryant's arsenal. It also helped him climb to 3rd place in the all-time career points leaderboard.
As a former Slam Dunk Champion, a “High-flyer” idea is worth the consideration. This is how we were introduced to Bryant and he brought us many astonishing dunks and posters.

What made Kobe Bryant special was his passion and love for the game. He was giving everything he had in order to accomplish his goals. On and off court, whether it was regular season time or off season, Kobe Bryant always worked on his game with a dedication only a few have displayed. And when it came down to the game, Lakers fans know he would “die for the team”.
Kobe since day one was looking to become one of the greatest players to have ever played the game. And he has accomplished that goal. Last and also a personal favorite, the “King of the World”. A stance representing all about Kobe Bryant, Championships, success, striving for greatness, and his legacy.
