Los Angeles Lakers superstar big man Anthony Davis is excited to get the 2019-20 season started.

After all the roster turnover which took place this summer, Davis says the 2019-20 season is “going to be fun.” The Lakers added Davis next to LeBron James, as well as DeMarcus Cousins and Danny Green. The Los Angeles Clippers made a big splash as well, acquiring Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

The battle of Los Angeles is going to be epic.

“We stand great,” Davis said of the Lakers’ chances, via K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune. “I feel very confident in our team and our roster. I’m excited about it. The league is going to be fun this year.”

Three other teams in the Western Conference made immense changes as well. The Houston Rockets traded Chris Paul to the Oklahoma City Thunder for former MVP Russell Westbrook, the Utah Jazz acquired Mike Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Golden State Warriors landed All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell from the Brooklyn Nets in the sign-and-trade deal involving Kevin Durant.

The Nets, of course, got Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan, too.

The Lakers are title contenders with LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the charge. If DeMarcus Cousins can stay healthy, the Purple and Gold will have a lethal Big 3.

Needless to say, the 2019-20 season is going to be entertaining.
