Lance Stephenson just can’t seem to catch a break.
With 8:41 left in the third quarter, Stephenson fell to the floor after getting inadvertently hit by his teammate, Kris Dunn. It appeared he might have hurt his ankle as he grabbed on to it immediately while grimacing in pain.

Stephenson signed a 10-day contract with the Wolves back in February. When he went down with a grade 2 ankle sprain, the team decided to wait for him to recover instead of signing another player to take his spot. He signed another 10-day deal last week but once again finds himself injured.
Should Stephenson be forced to miss some games, the Timberwolves will most likely look for another option who can help them in their battle for one of the last playoff berths in the Western Conference. With only 16 games left on their schedule, every game is a must win. Filling every roster spot will be important, which does not help Stephenson’s case to remain with the team.
More details about his injury are expected to surface soon as tests were done on him to check for any structural damage on his left ankle or even possibly, his leg.
