After bouncing around the league the past two years, Lance Stephenson is back to where he started his NBA career.

Last week, the Indiana Pacers once again signed their second round draft pick from 2010. He played his first home game on Tuesday and the crowd inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse Arena gave him a standing ovation when his name was announced as he checked into the game.

Stephenson spent his first four seasons in the league in Indianapolis and made a name for himself as a hard-nosed defender who gave the stars of the league a hard time scoring against him. He had his best season in 2013-14 when he averaged 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.0 steals in 78 games, which is the most he's played in a year.

The former Cincinnati Bearcat became a free agent after that season and the Pacers offered him a five-year extension. However, Stephenson opted to sign with the Charlotte Hornets instead on a three-year, $27 million deal. Things started to go downhill for him since then, as he battled numerous injuries and was not able to replicate the success he had in Indiana.

Now in his second stint with the team, Stephenson is hoping he can resurrect his career and play to his full potential with the team that drafted him. The Pacers are also optimistic that he can help address their need at the wing position and make an immediate impact for them, especially in the playoffs. He is off to a good start as he fired up his team and contributed to their come-from-behind victory on the night against the Toronto Raptors, 108-90.
