Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. has suffered a concussion and will be kept out of Tuesday's road matchup against the Dallas Mavericks, according to ESPNLA reporter Mike Trudell.

Nance suffered the injury in the second quarter of Sunday's 119-108 win against the Phoenix Suns. He did not return to the game and was diagnosed with the concussion minutes after he was taken into the locker room.

The Wyoming product had two points and a steal before departing only three minutes into his run. He had averaged double figures scoring in the last three games, playing 29 minutes per game during the stretch.

Tarik Black will pick up most of Nance Jr.'s minutes during his absence.
