The Ball family has had a busy last couple of days, but none more crucial than dealing with a break-in while the father, LaVar Ball, went to watch his kids LiAngelo and LaMelo play in a televised high school game, according to TMZ Sports.
Neighbors had heard a suspicious crash sound at their home around 8 p.m. and called local police right away. Police were quick to the scene of the crime and saw a pile of Ball family belongings in the center of their home, as if rounded up to collect.
Local police have theorized that due to the neighbors’ quick response, the burglars didn’t get to round up the goods in time, leaving the loot for grabs before escaping the home.
Cops have taken fingerprints and are actively looking for surveillance video, even going as far as using a helicopter to search for the suspects. The Ball family was instructed to look for missing items upon their arrival.
“I wish I was there,” said the often-outspoken LaVar Ball. “It ain’t hard to get in my home… it’s hard to get out.”
