Brian Kelly shocked the world when he decided to leave Notre Dame for LSU to replace Ed Orgeron as head coach. Kelly has already been roasted for how he left South Bend and how he failed miserably to recruit his top assistants with him to Baton Rouge, with defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman ultimately taking his place as the next head coach of the Fighting Irish.

Well, Kelly is now being roasted again, this time for what appears to be a faked Southern accent at an LSU basketball game. Check out this sleuthing:

The jokes and memes came in hot and heavy:

Brian Kelly, clearly trying to ingratiate himself with the LSU faithful!

This is all in good fun, of course, and Notre Dame fans will have a field day with this. Meanwhile, LSU fans won't care as long as Kelly gets them back to powerhouse level. It was just two seasons ago that the Tigers won a national championship with Orgeron as the head coach, but things went south the past couple of seasons, resulting in this big change at head coach.

Kelly had a good amount of success at Notre Dame and is leaving a team that made the College Football Playoff last season and still has a chance to make the CFP this season. It's quite the bold move given Notre Dame's success and stature as a program, but LSU rolled up the Brink's truck and gave Kelly a whole lot of dough. It will be fascinating to see how this plays out.
