Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Nick Young has received more criticism in his career rather than praises. However, his head coach, Luke Walton, talked about him recently and had nothing but good words for him.

After suffering a calf injury, the 31-year-old USC product came back ahead of schedule and played for his team against the New York Knicks on Sunday night. This development has made Walton speak publicly about his admiration for Young and even went as far as saying that he believes he is one of the “tough guys” in the league today.

Although the Lakers lost the game, Young proved he is not suffering from any rust and contributed 15 points and four rebounds. More importantly, he gave his team another scoring option which they badly need as they have lost five straight games coming in to Sunday's contest.

If Young completely recovers from his injury, it is expected that he'll be one of the major scoring options for the Lakers who are looking to speed up their rebuilding process and once again be among the league's elite teams.
