Only two weeks away from the trade deadline, more rumors about Carmelo Anthony‘s next destination are surfacing. Although the L.A. Clippers, Boston Celtics, and Cleveland Cavaliers have long been linked to him, another team might just join the sweepstakes to land the New York Knicks forward.
Mark Cuban, joking about the trade deadline: "I'll just keep talking to Phil Jackson about what deals I can do."

The Mavs are having one of their worst seasons in franchise history this year. They are currently ranked 11th in the Western Conference and appears like they will be headed for the lottery. Even after adding key pieces to their roster last summer, things have not gone according to plan and they have continued to struggle winning games.
Despite making it seem like a joke, given Cuban’s history of being an aggressive team owner, there might be some truth to his statement. With the Mavericks’ need of a superstar and proven scorer, it won’t come as a surprise if the team will somehow emerge as the trade partner the Knicks are looking for to pull off a blockbuster deal which will send Anthony to Texas.
But then again, Anthony still holds the final say with his no-trade clause.
