Basketball Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has already taken his picks for the two teams that will face off in the Eastern Conference Finals.

According to the NBA on TNT host, this season's Eastern Conference Champion will be decided in a thrilling matchup between the Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Some might consider Charles Barkley's prediction to be a tad bit premature considering how both teams have yet to get out of their first-round series matchups against the respective opponents.

The first-seeded Bucks are currently in the driver's seat in their first-round tie against the Detroit Pistons with a 3-0 series advantage. Game 4 in Detroit will take place on Monday night, and the Bucks are very close to a highly-impressive first-round sweep of the Pistons.

If and when they get through the first round, the Bucks will face off against the Boston Celtics, who themselves swept the Indiana Pacers in their fourth versus fifth-seed first-round matchup.

As for the Raptors, they too hold the advantage against their first-round opponents, the Orlando Magic, with Kawhi Leonard and company up 3-1 in the series. Game 5 will be in Toronto's home floor on Tuesday night, and they could very well close out the series with a home victory.

Toronto will be pitted against the winner of the Philadelphia 76ers-Brooklyn Nets series. It looks like the Raptors are going to have a second-round meeting with the Sixers, as they currently lead the series 3-1 against the Nets.

Given how both the Bucks and the Raptors have been playing of late, it's hard to argue against Barkley's prediction here.

Should this come to fruition, then we will all be treated to an epic Eastern Conference Finals that should prove to be one for the books.
